# Writers, Editors & Reviewers

Every article from Fenix Loans is credited to a qualified writer and gets its final sign-off from an independent reviewer who holds a recognized credential, such as AFC®, CFP®, JD, or an NMLS lending license. You can verify all credentials yourself; the certification and license numbers are shown on each contributor's personal profile.

**Our board’s rule.** Writers never give final approval to their own work. Each financial guide and state overview page lists two names: the writer and the reviewer.

## How we build our editorial board

All contributors need to supply a credential that can be checked, like a license or certification number. Each one must sign the Fenix Loans editorial integrity pledge and reveal any ties to lenders, lead sources, or debt-relief companies. Those with open consumer-protection cases in any state are disqualified.
